July 2010
79 members and 7 guests were present at the July meeting to enjoy seeing and trying their hand at card making, knitting jewellery making and quilting. Thank you to Julia Whiting, Eileen Smith, Claire Murray and Anne Powell for sharing their talents with us.
Following on from this, It was suggested that some members may be interested in meeting to “Stitch & Bitch or Knit ‘N Natter” or whatever you want to call it, once a month in the winter just for fun. Sue Dunbar said she would be happy to get this group going and if you are interested, please email our Secretary, Lesley with your name wi.secretary@googlemail.com
For those of you who enjoyed the card making, Julia Whiting also runs separate card making sessions. If anyone is interested in attending one of these, please contact Julia.
