About our WI

You are welcome to visit before becoming a member

The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Wimbledon WI was initiated on the first day of the 2008 Wimbledon Tennis Championships and meets on the third Monday of every month at 7:30pm at THE 6th FORM CENTRE, URSULINE HIGH SCHOOL, THE DOWNS, WIMBLEDON SW20 8HA. How to find our meetings  You can attend as a guest for free on your first visit and then two subsequent visits at £5 each to see what goes on before you decide to join. Any queries please email us on contact@wimbledonwi.org.uk  Please note this is not a mailing address, if you wish to send us something please email contact@wimbledonwi.org.uk for an appropriate address.

For more information about the WI you can also visit the National Federation of WIs website.

We are a fast growing WI so we apologise if we don’t have time to speak to you all individually at every meeting. However if you want to discuss a particular thing or ask about joining or starting a special interest club please get in touch.  Or you can email contact@wimbledonwi.org.uk and we will make sure the email reaches the right person.
