About our WI

The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Wimbledon WI was initiated on the first day of the 2008 Wimbledon Tennis Championships and meets on the third Monday of every month at 7:30pm at THE 6th FORM CENTRE, URSULINE HIGH SCHOOL, THE DOWNS, WIMBLEDON SW20 8HA. How to find our meetings

Unfortunately due to Covid 19 meetings at Ursuline High School have had to be suspended for the time being but we are still meeting on the third Monday of every month at 7.00pm by Zoom.  Please make contact if you would like to join us.

Please note this is not a mailing address, if you wish to send us something please email contact@wimbledonwi.org.uk for an appropriate address.

Do you want to become a member?

If you wish to become a member please come along to the next meeting and collect a membership application form. You can attend as a guest and see what goes on before you join.

For more information about the WI you can also visit the National Federation of WIs website.

Do you want to get more involved?

We are a fast growing WI so we apologise if we don’t have time to speak to you all individually at every meeting. However if you want to discuss a particular thing or ask about joining or starting a special interest club please get in touch. Our committee members are all clearly labelled at the meetings! Or you can email contact@wimbledonwi.org.uk and we will make sure the email reaches the right person.
